This map made by Schubert & Franzke aims to develop cycling in the mountain villages of Romania and it is the work of a group of enthusiasts, members of the Bike Attack Resita Association.
Despite the extremely high cycling potential, mountain biking in the Banat Mountains, a form of nature-friendly tourism, is currently poorly deveolped in terms of both number of bikers and infrastructure. This material is the first of its kind in Romania and contains comprehensive mountain bike trail maps and useful tourist information for those who visit this area by bicycle. All the information was updated between May 2010 and May 2013 under guidance of Catalin Gavrila, the president of the Bike Attack Association in Resita.
